It was a trip that changed Sandhosh Kumar's life. While holidaying at Bali in 2005, he and his friend decided to go trekking up Mount Rinjani in Indonesia for fun. But that one climb changed the course of his life from being an IT consultant to a full time mountaineer.
"While climbing Mt Rinjani, I was left with no choice but to keep going. But that test of endurance made me realize that I could achieve a lot more than I think," recalls the 26-year-old Chennai lad, who attempted the feat with no previous experience of climbing. "In fact, we didn't even have proper gear and I was wearing just two jeans and four shirts."
