Several flights and trains were disrupted for the second consecutive day on Monday as fog enveloped the national capital, leaving a large number of passengers stranded.
Ten domestic flights were cancelled and 20 were delayed as the heavy fog led to decreased visibility while six trains were cancelled and 55 were delayed, officials said.
On Sunday, over 100 flights were affected when fog enveloped the Indira Gandhi airport. Over 40 flights, including 14 international ones, were diverted while 38 were cancelled.
The capital saw its first foggy day of the season on Saturday.
