New Delhi, Nov 30 (IBNS) Former Indian Prime Minister Inder Kumar Gujral died on Friday at age 92, family sources confirmed.
Gujaral had served as the 12th Prime Minister of India in the United Front government from April 1997 to March 1998.
Gujral had left the Indian National Congress party in the mid-1980s and joined the Janata Dal.
His ´Gujral Doctrine´, was known for espousing better relations with neighbours.
The Gujral Doctrine is a set of five principles to guide the conduct of foreign relations with India's immediate neighbours as spelt out by Gujral, first as India's External Affairs Minister and later as the Prime Minister.
