Fuel price hike: Left and right furious, protests on
The fuel price hike saw the government coming under fire from ally Trinamool Congress and rivals BJP and Left parties have hit the streets on the issue while AIADMK has demanded an immediate rollback of the increase. Opposition parties are demonstrating at Jantar Mantar. West Bengal chief minister and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee opposed the hike in fuel prices, saying it will put the common man in great difficulty.
