Girls outperform boys in CBSE exams



Lucknow: Girls outshone boys in the Class 12 Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) exams in the Allahabad region, which comprises six states - Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Orissa. The results were declared on Friday by the CBSE regional centre in Allahabad. The overall pass percentage came down to 75.95 this year as compared to 76.74 the previous year, officials said.
