He will always come at exactly when he has to!
Superstar Rajnikanthâs long awaited Enthiran finally released this week and the mania which we all kept buried in our hearts for the two long years it took to make this magnum opus finally exploded in a frenzy of âpalabhishekamsâ, prayers, garlands and (most importantly) theatres packed to bursting. The film was practically sold out three days before it released and is sold out for weeks.
Although there are rumours that some of his staunchest fans were disappointed with the film, feeling that the film lacked the spirit of Rajni and his acting was mostlyâŠrobotic. These fans feel that most people are just going with the flow, a form of mass hysteria, instead of truly appreciating his skills.
Even if you leave aside for a moment the hysteria of his fans (as if that was even possible), on its own Enthiran is an out-and-out entertainer with some very high production values. Itâs not quite Transformers but we are getting there, one baby step at a time.
