Ada, born as Augusta Ada Byron, was the daughter of the famous English poet Lord Byron. She displayed a keen interest in mathematics from an early age. She is known for her work on Charles Babbage's Analytical Engine. Baggage was highly impressed with her analytical ability and asked her to translated an article by Italian mathematician Luigi Menabrea on the engine. Her notes on the article include what is recognised as the first algorithm encoded for processing by a machine.
An "Ada Lovelace Day" is also celebrated to remember the mathematical genius who was an inspiration for women who wanted to achieve big in the field of science and technology.
