On the eve of Christmas, popular search engine Google came up with a musical doodle to wish its users 'Merry Christmas'.
Google.com decorated its homepage with a colourful 'Happy Holidays' doodle on Friday itself. But on Saturday, six glowing buttons were added to the 'Happy Holidays' doodle.
Each button plays a note from Christmas tune 'jingle bells', when users click on it.
Once all six buttons are clicked a seventh musical button appears which plays the full tune-'Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way'.
The new doodle showcases all the elements that are associated with Christmas.
Images of a snowflake, Santa Claus, bell, snowman, candle and a gift box are seen decorating the word google in the latest doodle against a black background symbolising the night sky.
The Google logo can be seen as a faint outline behind the six icons.
If a user clicks at the doodle, he is connected to several links that are associated with holiday and the best ways of celebrating it.
Google regularly present to the users colourful doodles to observe birth anniversaries of important personalities and significant dates.
The doodles not only entertain the users but also reminds them of the eminent personalities and their creations.
