India's MMTC invites bids to export 150,000 tonnes of wheat

NEW DELHI, Jan 24 (Reuters) - India's state-run trading company MMTC Ltd has issued a tender to export 150,000 tonnes of wheat for shipments between Feb. 20 and Mar. 31, a company statement said on Thursday.

The tender closes on Feb. 14.

MMTC has offered to export wheat from the east coast. State-run trading firms have been floating export tenders to ship out wheat from overflowing government warehouses.

India is the world's second-biggest wheat producer.
