Srinagar, Oct 9 (IBNS) At least five security personnel were suspended on Tuesday for alleged security breach in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly on Monday, reports said.

Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Speaker Mohammad Akbar Lone suspended the five security personnel on Tuesday in connection to the incident.

A man claiming himself to be jobless jumped into the Well of the state assembly from the visitors´ gallery on Monday, causing a security scare in the highly protected building.

While the man jumped, two others who accompanied him raised slogans and held a flag to highlight the unemployment problem in the state.

All three men were later whisked away by the House marshalls.

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah later said there was no security breach since all of them had entered the house with valid visitors´ passes.

He said there is no need to blow the incident out of proportions.

Unemployment is a huge problem in the terrorism hit state.

Last week Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi along with business tycoons like Ratan Tata and Kumar Mangalam Birla held an interactive session with students of the Kashmir University (KU) to discuss investment in the state for employment generation.
