Kadapa bypolls pass off peacefully
Barring stray incidents, the by-elections to Kadapa Lok Sabha and Pulivendula Assembly constituencies in Kadapa district on Sunday passed off peacefully even as 248 anti-social elements were taken into preventive custody, a top police officer said.
About 70 percent of the electors cast their votes in the Kadapa Lok Sabha and 81 percent in the Pulivendula assembly constituencies.
