Meira: The lady who took on Maya
New Delhi: Daughter of late Congress leader Jagjivan Ram, 64-year- old Kumar, Congress' dalit face, had a steady rise in the echelons of power becoming the first woman to occupy the high office of Lok Sabha Speaker. She had all 14 sets of nomination papers from both UPA BJP in her favour.
