New Delhi: Top Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leaders will meet here on Monday to decide if they would remain a part of the ruling United Progressive Alliance (UPA).
NCP chief Sharad Pawar and party leader Praful Patel have supposedly resigned from the government in a huff and raised many questions about its functioning.
Sharad Pawar also met Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Friday soon after his yet to be clarified resignation which the NCP so far dubbed as a communication sent to the Prime Minister.
The NCP on Saturday said there is lack of 'coordination' with the Congress party both in Maharashtra and the Centre.
However, NCP said the party will continue to be support the UPA.
"We are in UPA and will continue to be a part of it in the future as an ally," Praful Patel said earlier.
He, however, said the functioning of the government has not been according to their expectation. "Our views are not considered," he said.
The NCP is also a part of the Congress-led ruling alliance in Maharashtra.
