New Delhi: Delhi Police has registered a case against an NGO owner, allegedly involved in flesh trade, for extorting money from a car mechanic after secretly making a video of him with prostitutes.
The NGO owner was booked following a complaint by the 53-year-old mechanic, who owns a shop in Vasant Vihar.
In the complaint, he alleged that the NGO owner provided girls to him and made a video of him with them.
The accused allegedly demanded Rs 20 lakh from him, threatening to implicate him in a rape case.
The mechanic alleged that two employees of some TV channels were also involved in the extortion and had threatened to telecast the video on TV.
The court intervened in the matter and asked police to record the complainant's statement.
"The matter was heard by court and the court directed to record the statement of complainant today itself and seize the CD of conversation and take steps as per the law," a police statement said.
