Nawaz Sharif`s second homecoming
Exiled former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif returned home to a chaotic and jubilant welcome on November 25, 2007 and immediately took the fight to the man who ousted him, saying emergency conditions imposed by President Gen. Pervez Musharraf were ``not conducive`` to free and fair elections. Thousands of frenzied supporters pushed past police barricades into the airport in Lahore, carrying Sharif and his brother on their shoulders and cheering wildly as the returning politician stood among them on a raised platform.
