The verdict that wasn't
Not only mortals but even a god gets a spot on this week's newsmakers. Shri Ram was practically on the lips and minds of every Indian as we anxiously awaited the verdict on the historic Ayodhya ownership case. Schools and colleges declared a holiday, security alerts were sounded across the country.
The Supreme Court declared on Thursday, September 23 that the judgment, expected to be given on the 24th, will now be deferred.
