The three surviving policemen of the four who were held hostage by Maoists for nine days, were released at around 6:30 a.m. on Monday.
They were taken to Lakhisarai police station for medical treatment before being sent home.
On September 3, the body of one of the policemen, Lucas Tete, was recovered from a forested area.
