The Dera dilemma is not yet over. The five Sikh head priests had on Thursday rejected the apology tendered by Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmit Ram Rahim Singh. The Akal Takht dismissed the apology as a shrewd tactic to divert attention. The apology given by the Dera chief to Guru Gobind Singh on Sunday night was stated as not graceful in language and spirit. A group of Sikh organisations have asked the Centre and the governments of Punjab and Haryana to arrest the Sacha Sauda chief by June 18, 2007, failing which their activists would court arrest in front of the Raj Bhawan in Chandigarh on June 19, 2007.
