The Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel:
The Taj is tightlipped about its security arrangements. But it was evident that its security arrangements had improved drastically after the attacks. Several armed guards and policemen were visible on its premises. A Taj spokesperson said: "The deployment of equipment and the level of security around our hotels is determined on the basis of constant liaison with local government agencies and other authorities. Our security staff have been given rigorous training, not only in use of our security equipment but also in the application of consistent security standards. The details of our security systems and protocols are not made public for obvious reasons."
