PM addresses nation on Independence Day

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh hoisted the national flag at the Red Fort to mark India`s 58th Independence Day on Monday. In his address, the Prime Minister, with referencet to terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, said the government will give a `hard`response if violence continued in the state.AFP
