PM lauds Sonia's guidance to UPA
New Delhi: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Tuesday lauded the guidance provided by Congress president Sonia Gandhi to the government as UPA-II completed a year, and said that renewal of mandate last year reflected people's faith in its policies. "Under the inspiring guidance of Smt.Sonia Gandhi, the United Progressive Alliance (UPA), with all its constituents, rededicates itself to giving the country an effective, purposeful and responsive government," the prime minister said at a function to mark the release of the "Report to the People 2009-10."
