The Cultural Heritage Council (CHC) of Pakistan's Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province has decided to celebrate renowned Indian actor Dilip Kumar's 90th birthday for the very first time in the legend's home town Peshawar.
The birthday celebrations for the Bollywood actor, whose birth name is Muhammad Yusuf Khan, will be held at the Peshawar Press Club on December 11, reports The Express Tribune.
The council has issued invitations to lawyers, journalists and the showbiz fraternity, which includes people from TV and radio.
The actor, who is also a former Member of Parliament, made his debut with the movie 'Jwar Bhata'. Known as the 'Tragedy King', Kumar was described as "the ultimate method actor" by Indian filmmaker Satyajit Ray. (ANI)
