Prince William weds Kate Middleton
With an estimated 2 billion pairs of eyeballs glued on them, there was immense pressure for the wedding to be the perfect fairytale that the hundreds of millions of teary-eyed female fans expected it to be.
And it was. There was not a foot thrown wrong, not one shuddering moment of uncertainty and the no one lost composure.
So here is a round-up of the day.
Prince William dressed in the red tunic and gold braid of an Irish Colonel, his highest honorary military rank, for the wedding.
He and his brother prince Harry, got a massive, screaming welcome as they drove from the house to the church in a limo.
