Ram Gidoomal: PIO who may be London`s mayor

While Sonia Gandhi`s rise to power has caused much consternation among a section of people in India, in UK Ram Gidoomal, a businessman of Indian origin, is making waves in his bid to become the mayor of London. Millionaire Gidoomal, who stepped into the mayoral race in January as a candidate for the Christian Peoples Alliance, a Christian democratic party, says he is seeking to integrate migrant citizens by providing them equal opportunities and a sense of belonging. The elections will be held on June 10.
