Chennai: If you think that fashion is still in its nascent stages in a ‘so-called’ conservative city of Chennai, then you have got it wrong. Thanks to Style One, a newly opened one-stop shop in designer wears, and other multi-branded apparel, Chennaiites will see fashion redefined in this rather traditional metropolis. While it is a welcome step that an initiative is being taken by a section of the Chennaiites to make the city lean towards fashion, one has to wait and watch how much success the newly opened retail store would achieve.
Rightly located in one of the most posh localities, Adyar, the 40,000 sq ft three-storied structure housing different fashion labels is aimed at the upper middle class, the upper class and most importantly the IT professionals.
