The 57th Republic Day with portrayals of India’s military and economic prowess, its vibrant culture and rich heritage. A colourful parade marched through Rajpath as President A P J Abdul Kalam took salute, flanked by Saudi Arabia`s King Abdullah behind a bulletproof screen.
