Puttaparthi: Hundreds of devotees of Sathya Sai Baba from across the country today conducted special prayers here for the speedy recovery of the spiritual leader, whose condition continues to be very critical.

The devotees congregated at the Prashatni Nilayam and Prashantigram super speciality hospital for the prayers even as doctors said the the Sai Baba's response to their treatment was minimal.
