Taliban again threatens to kill her
The Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) which attacked 14-year-old National Award Peace winner Malala Yousafzai on Tuesday said the militant group targeted the young activist because she generated "negative propaganda" about Muslims.
"She considers President Obama as her ideal leader. Malala is the symbol of the infidels and obscenity," The Washington Post quoted TTP spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan, as saying.
Ehsan added that if Malala survived, the Taliban would again try to kill her.
Malala's father Zia Uddin Yousafzai, is an educator and a member of Swat's peace jirga, or tribal council.
"She is all right. Please pray for her early recovery and health," he was quoted, as saying.
