Former Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf's application to extend his protective bail for another 15 days has been accepted the Sindh High Court.
Musharraf, who was previously granted protective bail for 10 days, went to renew his bail application on the last day, a report by Express News said.
Security forces had been deployed around the high court in preparation for Musharraf's arrival.
According to the Express Tribune, upon arrival, Musharraf was greeted by protesting lawyers who also got in to a fight as they chanted slogans against him.
One angry protester also tried to throw a shoe at the former dictator.
Musharraf arrived in Karachi on March 24, to contest the upcoming general elections under the banner of his party, the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML)
