Six Naxals killed in Maharashtra's Gadchiroli District

At least six Naxals, including two women cadres, have been killed in an encounter with paramilitary security forces early on Sunday morning.

Reports said the encounter took place in Govindgaon near the Jimalgatta forest in Maharashtra's Gadchiroli District.

Police said the encounter took place about 200 kilometers from Nagpur, in the south eastern part of Vidarbha.

The bodies of the Naxals have reportedly been brought to the Aheri Police headquarters in the district.
