Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday played safe on the ongoing controversy over the remarks made by senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader LK Advani who called the ruling United Progressive Alliance (UPA) 2 government 'illegitimate' on the very first day of the Monsoon session.
"He is a senior person. So he knows what he is saying. I won't like to comment," Rahul told reporters on Wednesday.
Though Rahul refused to make a comment on the issue, his mother and Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi was seen losing her temper in the Parliament on Wednesday and directing party Members of Parliament (MPs) to start protesting against Advani's remarks.
