However, there seems to be a muted response to the actions of the Congress party in the state of Orissa. For over two days now, Congress party 'workers' have been 'protesting' against corruption in Bhubaneswar, Orissa.
This 'protest' has taken the form of rampage and undisguised hooliganism and yet no one seems particularly bothered.
Is this because this is the state capital of a not-so-famous state? Is it because this is not Mumbai? Does Orissa have a separate standard for peace and order?
I leave it up to the readers to make up their own minds about the irony of the Congress party, of all parties, running a violent political protest against corruption.
