Strong quakes strike in Japan
The shoulder of an express way is caved in after a magnitude 6.6 earthquake hit the area in Makinohara, west of Tokyo on Tuesday. The powerful earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.6 hit Tokyo and nearby areas shortly after dawn on Tuesday, halting trains and forcing two nuclear reactors to be shut down for safety checks.
