New Delhi, Feb 14 (IANS) Delhi residents enjoyed a sunny Thursday after a nippy morning with the maximum temperature at 26.7 degrees Celsius, three notches above average for the season. Thunderstorms, hail and light rain in parts of the city are likely Friday.
"There is a possibility of thunderstorms and light rainfall in parts of the city over the next 24 hours. The skies will remain partly cloudy," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The minimum temperature Thursday was 10.2 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season.
The humidity levels wavered between a high of 95 and a low of 27 percent, the official added.
"The maximum and minimum temperatures Friday are expected to hover around 22 and 12 degrees Celsius, respectively," the official added.
Wednesday's maximum temperature settled two notches above average at 25.4 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was normal at 10.3 degrees Celsius.
