Kolkata, Feb 3 (IBNS) Trinamool Congress MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar has kicked up another row by jeering Congress leader and union minister Deepa Dasmunshi over her make-up as she mocked at her and compared her to a dancer.
"You cannot be a leader by dancing. You cannot be a leader by wearing a make-up," mocked Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar at a public rally referring to Deepa Dasmunshi, wife of Congress leader Priya Ranjan Dasmunshi who is now in a state of coma.
Ghosh Dastidar was attacking Dasmunshi for her anti-Trinamool remarks recently after the break-up between Congress and Trinamool Congress.
Known for her opposition to Mamata Banerjee, Deepa Dasmunshi, an MP from Raigunj in West Bengal, has recently been made the Union Minister of State for Urban Development after Trinamool Congress walked out of the UPA alliance over economic reforms of Manmohan Singh.
Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar recently triggered a controversy when she said the infamous Park Street rape case in West Bengal was not a ´rape case´ but a ´misunderstanding between the lady and her client´.
Recently Congress MP Abhijeet Mukherjee, who is the son of President Pranab Mukherjee, drew a lot of flak over his remarks booing the Delhi rape protesters as women who are "dented and painted."
