Kabul: Taliban suicide bombers and gunmen raided a police compound in Afghan capital of Kabul Monday morning, police said.
"The militants conducted a coordinated attack against an Afghan border police compound located near the intersection of Dehmazang in western Kabul," a police official told Xinhua.
At least one suicide bombing also took place in the attack which occurred at about 6 a.m. Monday, he said.
No casualty reports were immediately available, he said.
Security forces have cordoned off the area.
The attack is the latest in a string of bombings that have targeted dozens of military and security compounds across the country.
