CNG stations in Pakistan's Malakand division have reopened after the Taliban issued a threat letter, asking gas station owners to start selling gas or face dire consequences.

The Taliban, in its threat letter, said if the station owners failed to resume the selling of gas, their stations would be attacked by the terror outfit, along with locals and transporters, reports The Nation.

Levies personnel were deployed at various gas stations to fend off any militant attack.

Most of the stations have been reopened and, under the threat, were selling CNG as per the current price.

Meanwhile, CNG stations remained closed in Swat on the fourth consecutive day in protest against 'low price' of gas, causing a great deal of trouble for locals. (ANI)
