Tamils celebrate Thaipusam festival

Tens of thousands of devotees braved a scorching sun to pay obeisance to Hindu deity Lord Murugan and to received his blessings on Thaipusam at Batu Caves near Kuala Lumpur. People began thronging the place since Saturday.
