Telangana battle hits normal life in AP
For the second consecutive day Thursday (January 21, 2010), the shutdown in Telangana over the demand for a separate state hit normal life in Hyderabad and nine other districts of the region.
Shops, business establishments and educational institutions remained closed and buses of state-owned Road Transport Corporation (RTC) remained off the roads for the second day.
RTC restored partial bus services in the state capital but services to other parts of Telangana and other regions of the state remained suspended.
