Robert Vadra, 42, has come a long way from being Priyanka Gandhi's reclusive, media-shy hubby.
He has evolved from being a mere businessman and son-in-law to Congress President Sonia Gandhi to staking a political claim as a member of the Gandhi family.
Despite being neck deep in allegations of corruption being labelled against him, Vadra's rise from being a modest businessman to someone potentially worth Rs 11000 crore is worth investigating.
Robert's family is originally from Sialkot, Pakistan.
Born to Rajendra Vadra, who moved to India during the partition, and Scotland-born Maureen Wadhera on April 18, 1969, Robert did his early schooling in Moradabad, UP, the place where Robert's father Rajendra ran a brassware export business and they later moved to Delhi.
