Hafiz Saeed, head of Pakistan’s deadliest terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba and Mumbai terror attack mastermind, now carries a $10 million bounty on his head. "India welcomes the US notification under the Rewards for Justice Programme," ministry of external affairs spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin said. Hafiz has thus made his way to the world's most wanted criminals list. Some of them as mentioned by Rewards for Justice programme are as follows:
Ayman al Zawahiri
Reward: $25m.
Functions as: Head of al-Qaida globally after the death of bin Laden
Ayman al-Zawahiri is a physician and the founder of the Egyptian Islamic Jihad.
This organization opposes the secular Egyptian Government and seeks its overthrow through violent means. He is also believed to have served as an advisor and doctor to Osama bin Ladin.
He is known to be involved in the August 7th, 1998 bombings of the U.S. embassies in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and Nairobi, Kenya. He has also been indicted on the charges such as murder of U.S. nationals outside the United States; conspiracy to murder U.S. nationals outside the United States; and attack on a federal facility resulting in death.
