Three Chief Ministers, one momentous day

One returns to power with absolute majority, another clings to power after blackmailing his party leaders and a third one resigns, saying he is unable to withstand the work pressure.

Just another day in a Chief Minister`s life? What makes these events interesting is the fact that they all happened on a single day.

One of the most eventful days for Indian politics, 24/11 saw the Janata Dal (United)-BJP alliance led by Nitish Kumar returning to power in Bihar with absolute majority, Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, who was accused of corruption and nepotism, "convinces" the BJP and stays in power and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah resigning on health grounds.
