London: A 36-year-old man from US has been charged for sneaking back into his old jail.
Matthew Matagrano used to be an inmate at New York's notorious Rikers Island prison.
He is alleged to have found back inside after impersonating a jail official, the Mirror reported.
Matagrano is said to have used a badge and ID card to sneak back in.
Officials said that his stay lasted for over a week.
He was only spotted by prison guards when he began moving inmates from one cell to another.
It was not known why he would have wanted to spend more time inside.
He has previously been caught posing as a Board of Education worker to enter schools. (ANI)
