Five policemen have been suspended in connection firing in which a 29-year-old journalist was killed yesterday during a anti-rape protest called by Manipur Film Forum (MFF) against alleged sexual assault with a regional actress.

Meanwhile, violence has gripped the state as protesters and security personnel clashed on Monday also in wake of the molestation of the actress.
