When women wield the brush

Come Women's Day, exhibitions of paintings by women artists will be held in any city where there is an art gallery. Many consider it an occasion to honour the creativity of women.

Chennai, which has a number of good galleries to boast of, is not behind any other city in honouring such artists.

An example of this is the exclusive women`s paintings exhibition being held at Sumukha Art Gallery where a number of women artists have showcased their creations.
