So Mumbai's ACP, Vasant Dhoble cracked down on nightclubs and restaurants claiming 'overcrowding' - he was worried about 500 people getting into a venue that was built for 250. Hmm, wonder why the same cop doesn't give too much of a hoot about the suburban railway trains - 4500 people where only 1700 are supposed to be. And that too in a high-speed vehicle. 3700 people die annually on the railways. AS far as I remember, nobody died at a gig at Hard Rock Cafe, not even during violent mosh pits.
Too bad some cops have priorities wrong, but hey, since when did trains have media value, right?
