Why Earth Hour

I think this is definitely a great endeavour as far as creating awareness is concerned. But it is also important that everyone realises why this effort is being undertaken, so that the campaign impacts the minds of those participating in it. While this is welcome as a token effort, it is important to follow it up. If the campaign is followed up with a more sustained effort, then it would surely bring in changes. I fully endorse the event.
