Worldwide protests against Prophet caricatures

A call for shutdown by separatist outfits to protest against the publication of caricatures of Prophet Mohammad in European newspapers paralysed life in the Kashmir valley. The Kashmir Bar association said, “…deliberate publishing of cartoons by some Europeans in the name of freedom of speech has hurt Muslim sentiments”.
