Sometime back, I read Mahatma Gandhi`s autobiography. It did inspire me and I have tried to follow him. I try to be as honest as possible. I think his major principles like non-violence and ahimsa are applicable in today`s world. Only through non-violence can we achieve peace and world unity. After more than 50 years of Independence I think we can say to an extent India has stood by his principles. In international affairs, India has adopted the policy of non-violence.
