A political party of beauties to fine fat people

Bucharest: Sanziana Buruiana, a Romanian model who wants to boost the country's popularity as a travel destination, has started a new political party for beautiful people.

Perhaps fittingly, she wants to punish anyone who makes 'dumb blonde' jokes.

The 23-year old model said: "Anyone like that needs to be put in prison."

A local newspaper, Metro, reported that she wants to heavily tax obese citizens at a rate of 10 Euros per kilo overweight. It wasn't clear what these funds would be diverted to. 

In keeping with the aims of the party, Buruiana wants to bring in a law insisting that only models in bikinis are allowed to work as tourist guides.

Ironically, though, the model plans to fine adulterers 100 Euros for infidelity.
